CruiserTM the Police Car is a remote control battery-powered police car to assist Law Enforcement in their community education efforts. It must only be used at programs or events that further public information, education, and awareness of child & life safety.

*This vehicle is for adult remote control use only. It is not to be driven by children.

CruiserTM the Police Car should be used under ADULT SUPERVISION at all times. Children are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from riding in or operating the vehicle, remote control, or battery charger. A child riding in the truck could override the remote control.

STORING:

  • Cut off the power and make sure all switches are in the “off” or “stop” position when not in use.
  • Store indoors.
  • To store for an extended time, charge the battery fully, then charge it every 3 months or so to extend the battery life.

OPERATION:

Follow manufacturers instructions.

  • Use only in daytime or a well-lit place.
  • Avoid using in areas with low visibility. A spotter is advisable as a second set of eyes on the vehicle.
  • Vehicle use is prohibited in the road or other places for driving and walking.
  • Use on hard, flat, dry surfaces. Avoid driving on sand, grass, slopes, uneven ground, or anywhere where there are obstacles.
  • Never operate in the rain or on wet pathways.

REMOTE:

For adult use only.

  • Keep the remote dry.
  • Never mix old and new batteries.
  • Take batteries out if storing for an extended time.

CHARGING:

Charging by adults only.

  • First charge takes 12 hours.
  • Run time: 60-80 minutes.
  • If the car slows down, charge for at least 8-12 hours or a maximum of 20 hours.
  • Before charging, check for any damage.
  • Never use until fully repaired.
  • A warm battery when charging is normal.
  • Charge away from flammable materials.

CARRYING:

  • There is a retractable handle under the front bumper of the car and caster wheels underneath in the back.
  • Pull the handle out to roll the car like a piece of luggage.
  • When not needed, push it back in to save space.

MAINTENANCE:

  • Inspect wires, plugs, and other components for damage before each use.

  • Clean with a soft cloth and water. Do not use soap or chemical solvents.
